Technology of stationary batteries is continually evolving giving it its character of extraordinary vitality and permanence. Stationary cells are produced from sets of positive armour plates and negative polished plates. Cores of the positive plates and the grille of the negative plates are cast from alloy of lead with low content of antimony slowing the reaction of water decomposition during cell operation.
Cores of the positive armour plates are placed in tubular casings made of micro porous material guaranteeing very high electrical conductivity. In later cycles of production and using advanced technology, tubular shields are filled with a properly prepared mixing blend.
Using polishing technology, the grille of the negative plates is applied with “wet” dynamic mass. Following, the plates are sorted out using separators of appropriate thickness to create bigger spaces between plates. Easier penetration of electrolytes within the plates is allowed.
Material in the form of microporous material as well as silica provides a low electric resistance permitting sets of plates to be placed in transparent Styrene-acrylonitrile resin (SAN). SAN is known from its greater thermal resistance. Cells of stationary OPzS batteries are made using liquid electrolytes.
The increased volume of electrolytes in the cell saves time and cuts down on costs associated with servicing the battery. The permanently sealed casing with a lid protects cells against permeating gases and electrolytes. The stationary cells are equipped with an anti-explosion ceramic cork responsible for the absorption of hydrogen secretions. Utilizing our unique technology, stationary cells are reliable and durable when in operation.
